Slacker redeems herself~! m(_ _)m

I know, I know, I've been slacking. LOL

I'm going to blog about 3 things today then... to make up for the lack of blog updates the past week. *begs for forgiveness*

Haircut!

*snip* *snip* Well this happened like a very long time ago but I just forgot to blog about it +_+ I finally decided to cut my hair short cos I can't stand the nagging of my mum everyday about my hair dropping on the floor. So I decided to try cutting at the hair studio in Emerald Park (Creative is it?) but not cut by students, instead by the professional stylists. As usual, I just tell them the length I want it to be and let them decide what style and how they want to cut it.

The haircut costs me RM28 which is relatively more expensive than the haircuts I got when I was younger from normal hairdressers for about RM8, but it's cheaper than some other studios I've been to - ranging from RM25 to RM45.

Of course the more recents photo you see of me now has my hair longer than when I first cut it. I miss my long hair T_T



My Birthday Whee~!

So.... like... 2 weeks ago was my birthday. I didn't have anything planned that day so my parents asked if I wanted to go out for dinner. That was the plan. I stayed at home all morning playing WoW and talking to some friends online and replying some birthday SMS from people =) Vorcon didn't call me this year T_T Some BVFF (it's like BFF with the V for virtual lol) you are! LOL.

Anyways, the person I was exchanging SMSes with the most was Yin (eh why your blog cannot visit ah? I don't have permission *cries* ). We were just 'playing' around... me telling her she should cook for me cos it's my birthday and she said yeah she'll post it down and stuff. All in joking manner till she told me to check my mailbox. Thinking it was a joke, I simply replied that I've checked and there was nothing. Then she called me and told me her friend is outside my house waiting to pass to me a present she passed to him. I was like o.O ok..... so I went out and saw a car parked just outside. I walked to the gate and had the shock of my life when 4 monkeys jumped out and yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" +___+ Lucky no heart attack.... Thanks Yin, Ely, Fish and Jin for the surprise. *hugs* You can see my UGLY face in her blog when they surprised me +_+

So they kidnapped me (kinda) and forced me to get dressed and get out right that instance. God... it's been AGES since I've talked to them. We headed to Jonker cos they miss the cendol there, had lunch there too, and then browsed the shops there. Lai Ching met up with us later in Jonker. Oh, there was this one young tourist from Holland who wanted to take a video of us and said "It's something nice to look back at home". Wa lau.... pai sei *redface* Lol we ran away. But then after, cos he is kinda cute, Ely the hamsap girl wants to take a photo with him.... and dragged me along. Ok fine I didn't mind going la... lol... but Ely initiated it XD He was SO TALL o.O You can see a photo of us and him in Ely's blog (link).

We wanted to sit down to talk (and tease!) and have a drink so we went to Limau-Limau Cafe where their fruit-based drinks do not contain added sugar! So my lemon was like... REALLY SOUR! I didn't mind it of course :D The prices were slightly on the steep side but mainly cos they needed to use more fruits since they omitted the sugar out. We ordered lasagna and garlic bread... tasted good (but I didn't eat much... kinda full and don't really eat much lasagna... I whacked 3 pieces of garlic bread though LOL). Again, food was slightly pricey as well. Here are some photos (of me mostly lol) in Limau-Limau Cafe:

After Jonker they sent me home and they headed back to KL. T_T So sad.... I wanted them to stay longer or for the time to go by shorter. So if their mission was to surprise me, they did it. If they wanted to make my birthday a super happy day, they did it too. Thank you so much! You guys rock!

Ok these photos are recent (so you can kinda see how long my hair has grown too). I felt my eyesight was getting bad so I went to check it out. Turns out the coating on the lenses were coming off and that was the reason I couldn't see far. Thankfully, after checking my power, only my left eye increased by 25 while my right stayed the same. *phew* If it increased a shit load again my mum will chew on me about how I spend long hours in front of my PC. I was deciding whether to get a new pair of glasses or just keep my current frame and change the lense. I ended up getting a new pair so the old one could be used as a spare and for when I need to change the lense again I could use that frame. RM400 down the drain T_T But at least this one comes with a pair of clip on sunglasses. I like :D
