Tired Lase.... and stimulation

I've been so tired the past few days. Last week I worked till as late as 11.30pm T_T and maybe the tired-ness accumulated and carried forward to this week. On Monday I went to bed right after I got home from work about 6pm, and slept all the way through till the next morning at 7am. That's a freaking 13 hours of sleep! :O It was really good rest though. Even then, yesterday I slept early at 11pm and got 8 hours of sleep before waking up for work. :O This is the girl who sleeps at 1am-2am on average. The early bedtime is good though, for my body. I'm not getting any younger so I shouldn't exhaust my body too much anymore. Gone were the days where I stayed up the whole night and not go to bed for more than 24 hours. Gone were the days where I go to sleep at 4am only to wake up at 6am to go to classes. Regretting them now serves no purpose. The damage has been done. My panda eyes will never go away @_@ so the only thing I can do now is to try to not let it get worse.

So anyways there is this thing I wanted to blog about for a week now. It's between the words 'simulation' and 'stimulation'. It's not really a good thing to mix up these two words, especially when talking to someone of the opposite gender. Well so my colleague was talking to her boss and he wanted to do some forecasting for future months on the depreciation of some assets (this might sound greek to some ahahaha sorry). So there was a program she could run which simulates the amount for the future months she needed. I was requested to help (cos my Excel is ehem rather uber and it takes me 30 mins of what my colleague would take 2 hours to do, and her boss wants it fast) and so she sent me the files named 'DEPN_STIMULATION_Q4.xls' and 'DEPN__STIMULATION_Q1.xls'.... +_+ Oh well... I worked on the file and before sending it back I renamed it to spell 'simulation' and not 'stimulation'. So I went back doing my own work and then her boss comes over to her place and she asked "Do you want the stimulation now?" and I kinda burst out laughing (at my own desk) as silently as I could possibly laugh. It just sounds so wrong.....

Well ya know, after posting that last post I actually got my parcel a few hours later. I wasn't really expecting it to arrive so soon, let alone on a Saturday. But it arrived, and while I was still talking to Ben.

I'm lazy to take photos of the stuff I got (pfft sue me XD) but here's what was in the parcel:

- Various PC parts (motherboard, graphics card, processor)
- Blizzard WoW authenticator (WEWT!!!! Now I can protect myself against hackers)
- A gold chain (to be matched with the pendant he gave me when he visited, cos that other chain was uber thin)
- Sour Candy!
- A video/mp3 player thingie with a touchscreen (this wasn't for Valentine's but for our 1 year anniversary)

I'm planning to get my 'new' PC done hopefully by the end of next month (busy with work the next 2 weeks sadly), get the authenticator assigned to my account (doing it after this post), already wore the chain with the attached pendant a few times now (it's a tad long though so I don't even need to unhook it lol it can slip through my head), opened and shared a packet of sour candy (another packet was for my boss), and the best was the video/mp3 player. There was the whole season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance in there, so I can re-watch it (for the 106th time) cos I've deleted those on my PC to free space a while ago. But the best in it, was the Mp3s. Ben recorded snips of songs he sang and they were my favourite! And if anyone's wondering, no he cannot sing. But the thought and the effort put into it was awwww.... so sweet! I love that the most out of all the presents.

On top of all that, I had Monday off and he didn't need to go to church on Sunday. So we had like.... Saturday morning (his Friday night), Saturday night (his Saturday morning), Sunday morning (his Saturday night), Sunday night (his Sunday morning which I usually don't get to spend with him cos he has church to go to), Monday morning (his Sunday night cos I had the day off)... so that was a whole lotta time spent together, and it was amazing :) We just chatting with voice and played WoW mostly, but it was still really nice.

Happy Valentine's Day~!

Yesterday was Friday the 13th wewt~! And today's Valentine's Day. So, wishing all my readers a wonderful Valentine's Day, and I'm always open to receiving gifts LOL!!!!

Speaking of gifts.... Valentine's Day started out with guys giving girls stuff, right? I just remembered this a few days ago (and wanted to post but was lazy lol). From what I remembered back in school, the girls are the ones who wait to receive gifts and see how 'loved' they are. For the guys, it's their chance to show the girls that they're crushing on them.

Of course for little Miss Popular right here, I didn't get more than 5 gifts throughout my entire life. LOL~! I still remembered we had dedication gifts in secondary school and one year, the gifts were SO CUTE that I tak tau malu (read: have no shame) and dedicated to myself cos I knew no one is gonna dedicate to me LOL!!!!!

So anyways.... Ben mailed me something from US and man I'm dying to find out what it is. And I got him something too which I'm going to mail out. Then like I said, I just remembered that it's ok if I don't give him anything cos the girl is the one who should receive the presents anyways lol.... I actually remembered this when I was listening to the radio on my way to work and they were having callers discuss whether girls should give guys gifts during Valentine's Day. I don't know how many people think this is true, but then the Japanese have White Day on March 14th where the girls give guys chocolates instead! Mostly for those who received gifts on Valentine's Day to return the favor to the guy, but also a chance for the girls to let the guys know they're crushing on them.

So whatever you believe to be true, share your day with your loved ones (and I don't just mean a partner... I've always shared them with a group of friends when I was studying) and don't go dying like Romeo and Juliet XD

I phailz

Yarr I r phailzorz to keep my blog updated twice a week. PHAIL~! And I admit it. Keeping it updated is hard work, though I have the topic to type about. Meh at least I kept my new year's resolution for a month T_T So yeah.... PHAIL~!

So you think I'd fail....

I'm sure many of you were thinking I was going to fail my new year's resolution, eh? Well you're right. I almost did. I keep remembering to blog when I'm eating or in the shower or somewhere not on my PC... +_+ I need something to help me remember lol... it's not like I don't have anything to type about, it's that I always forget lol. Lots going on during CNY which I can blog and I will if I remember... =/ Sucks that tomorrow's Monday though... and closing week too... and tomorrow is Pai Ti Kong (prayers) so it'll be a hectic day lol. Anyways I better get to sleep to rest my headache (had it since yesterday sigh what a way to spend my weekend).

And yes, I know this post sucks cos it's so short :p
